Woot! I'm finally back from my little exercise in Thailand, people say that this trip would some how be the pinnacle of my national service here. However, i'm kinda sourcing around for the photos we took over there, but i hope there are not considered classified or else i can't really share it with you all.

The experience was really great, imagine for me, i've gotta lay comm lines, 6km long, through the little villages and "farmland". The locals were very warming towards us (fortunately). Seems like they're used to seeing SAF personnel roaming around like that. Then again, i'm still looking forward to the end of my service (9 more months)! :D

Picking up the pieces

Wow, it's been 6 months since my last post in January and guess what, i think i almost forgot i even had this blog floating around in the internet. Opps! But not to worry, i've decided to give an update (although i assume no one actually follows my blog anymore, ha!) of my little journey in the first half of 2010. So....

Life's been good so far after my so called tragic accident during my basic training phase. I've been posted here and there but eventually i've earned my signal insignia after 2 full months of knowledge-intensed training. At least now, i can somehow 'contribute' according to my battalion's needs. Well the good thing is at least we work through the night, so we don't have to brave the scorching heat during the day. Heh. We'll be leaving for Thailand during September though, but that's another story to tell.

Also, i'm quite glad that the Pharmily is meeting often even though a couple of us are studying thousands of miles away from home and just recently we met up over some 'picnic-y' luncheon. So simple but still delicious. Ha. :D

Christmas and New Year just ended sadly enough. Looks like I won't be digesting good festive food until like a year later?? Oh my, seriously, it's like having a total hangover and i'm still craving for some more! Haha, oh my sounds like i'm more of a glutton now than ever. I wonder what's for Chinese New Year in the coming month.. Heh :p

Happy 2010! Some how or another, 2009 seemed to pass quite fast. I really hope 2010 would pass by fast too so at least that means i'm closer to my end of 2 years of national service! I guess we just gotta dunk all our bad experiences in 2009 and look forward for what 2010 has prepared for us!

Merry Christmas guys! It's been a great year of ups and downs with graduation, enlistment and a jaw-breaking experience to sum it all up. Looks like i just have to hope for a better 2010. Hehe :D

Also this year's dinner we had home made chocolate fondue in the menu, something new to our usual ham & "whatever" every year. Serap!

Looks like I'm back for a while but in a rather unfortunate state. About a month ago, I kind of blacked out in the Army, fell face flat on the ground, broke my jaw and lost some teeth at the same time. So now... I'm only on a soft diet cos i still can't chew properly and looks like the only way to satisfy my stomach is to blend all my food. Eek!

Well good thing my jaw's getting better and I have lots of "Jaw-breaking" therapy to do every now and then. Honestly till now I would've never expect to break any of my bones so early in my life. Of all bones in my body, I just have to break my jaw. Dang.

Seems like every post now will be a countdown to the day of enlistment. From today, I'm left with 1 week before I take that dreaded journey to Tekong Island and not returning in 2+ weeks after that. Okay I think I can't really compare to the old timers when they can't go home for 3 months straight. I guess I need to enjoy my meals now while I still can. Ha.

Anyway, it looks like I'll be bonded to Alexandra Health for the next 6 years after I graduate from university, they will be my sponsor cum future employer. My deed signing is on Saturday and after that there's no turning back unless I pay $1000+ or something.

Looks like my career path is set for the next 11 years. Jeez :/

Came and touched

I kinda got myself an iPod Touch over the weekend. Didn't really want my phone to be an iPhone but i actually like the 'usability' of the Touch aka the 'Touch feature' which i personally think is more fascinating than the others (not to name any).

Anyway, it's quite interesting to have almost 'live broadcast' of TV networks in the internet. I actually decided to take full advantage of it by watching the UEFA Champions League Final in about 5 minutes from now. That's the reason why i'm pretty much awake at this odd hour. Although not a bad fan of both teams, but it's great to watch some good football. :D

Mixed Emotion

Woo, in approximately 20 days from now my so called pampered lifestyle is gonna disappear for the better. Well in short, the armed forces is going to 'recruit' me & many others into their service for a good 2 years (lesser for some). Personally, i'm not too sure how i'll survive or endure their trainings/punishments/crap but i really hope my 2 years will be quick with no mishaps.

Well on a lighter note, i finally graduated from NP and i'm sure gonna miss all my mates there. Also i just received my offer from RMIT and once the administrative stuffs are settled i'll most probably accept the offer. Hopefully that will be the right choice for me instead of pursuing my studies in USyd. :D

It's kinda sad to read about dudes ranting about teens buying/using DSLRs cos they assumed that those teens found them cool or it's the IN thing now. But come on... let them be... although i'm not too impressed if those kids actually buy them just because it's cool. But photographers, we should encourage them! We should spread the love for photography and develop creative minds! LOL! Honestly whatever i've just wrote here is utterly nonsense, but what the heck.

Alright, just a little quick update on what's going on around me. First of all, i finally managed to check out the lalang field at Punggol, well the bad thing was that when we reached there, it started pouring madly. So no shots of lalangs at all but just a shot of Jefferson (below). Hahaha, we were documenting our presence at Punggol. I seriously need to venture to Punggol again soon. Any takers?

Also, one great news is that i finally got my scholarship offer to study radiography overseas! Now all i gotta do is to find a university in Australia. So far i've applied at RMIT & Usyd, but now i'm considering Monash too. Really hope i could get into Monash, although it's 1 year more than the rest.

Of course, i also received another good news last week. My enlistment is just 1+ month away (11th June)! Finally like after so long, i'm gonna face one of the biggest (?) challenges in life. Hahah, hopefully i'll survive inside!

Honestly, sometimes i really have no patience in waiting. Currently, in hand, i have things of which i should know about soon, but still i've heard nothing about them. One is my university applications, also my scholarship applications, my Army enlistment letter and from what i heard, my graduation ceremony invitation (Most of my mates already received them)! This is crazy man... Pfft...

Been wanting to post up something for quite some time already but i thought of waiting till i hear some good news first but oh well, it's been 4 days since my scholarship interview and there's still no news about it! Hopefully by this week i'll get to know something (yes or no it doesn't matter). Anyway guys, i'll be heading to the Philippines tomorrow to enjoy myself there before i actually get confined in the army. Gonna really splurge myself with good filipino food and affordable merchandises.

Oh yeah, yesterday i was quite fortunate to find a bunch of this kind of daisies in Singapore. I do know they're only grown in temperate regions so yeah i found them in a glasshouse. But unfortunately i couldn't get inside, so i had to shoot them through the glass window. Dang... :D

Yay! I kind of graduated from school already, it's been one heck of a ride, many ups and downs, many bad and good experiences, many bonds were made. At last, i can have a good long deserved break before i move on to tougher hardships and confinement from reality. Well, today i had the opportunity to take some photos at a playschool and the kids there were really great and excited to witness a tall man with a gigantic camera spamming away unglam shots of them in action!

Yay! I'm left with one last and final exam paper of my 3 years in poly! That paper also happens to be tomorrow and as usual, i can't believe i can find time to post up something here too. Nevertheless, once i'm done with this paper and with my final year project presentation, i can officially say that i've "completed" my course of studies in pharmacy (unless of course i screwed up some where in between).

Even so, my pet dog, Gideon has been rather patient with me because everytime when finished reading through a chapter, i'll start to play with him every chance i get.. haha!

It's very interesting that everytime when i have a paper to study the very next day, i tend to have the urge to post something up. Even if it's lame, boring or stupid. Just like now, hahaha i just feel like posting up this photo depicting the close bonding of our class only at the very few last week of school unfortunately. But i'm glad we took that opportunity to do things together, suffered together, cried together and had fun together! Well, on the happy side, we did took alot of unglamourous photos together and i'll probably shared it exclusively to you guys on a later post! Okay, maybe just a little update on what's going on lately. First of all, apologies to those who expected a fresh new name for this photoblog. Hahah, really got tired thinking of nice names and everytime when i have an idea, i tried google-ing it, someone else is already using that name.

Realised that since many of my pals suggested using my name instead, soo...... in the end.. hahaha, i settled with smanfoto. I know it's lame, boring and all, but really, i have no ideas already. LOL unless of course if i'm really serious in setting up a photography "company", i'll probably come up with something new.

Anyway, on a side note, after thinking for a while about my university application, i kinda decided to apply for Medicine at NUS. Hahha, since i really have no idea what to apply for in NUS, i guess i'll just give Medicine a try. It'll be great if i can even get shortlisted!

Farewell my Comrades

Wow, the past few days were crazy for me and mates. We just had our poster presentation last Friday and now we had to rush through our final report over the weekend, amazingly i think it's my first time sleeping quite late (5am?) just to finish up as much stuff as I can. The thing is i have to compile the video clips for 4 non-English videos and that was really really painful! haha!

Although we would all want our projects to be done asap, it's really kinda sad to know that we're graduating soon! We'll all probably go our separate ways after 3 long years of friendship and great laughter. But not to worry, we still have a few more 'unofficial weeks' together and of course the infamous Dinner & Dance to look forward to which we initially had no interest in. Haha, it's been one hell of a ride :D

Well well... first of all, Happy Chinese New Year to everyone Chinese or non-Chinese. Nothing exciting about CNY though, it's just the same old gathering at Granny's place for dinner and that's about it. I've not visitations like any other Chinese kid around here. hahaha... so with that free time... i was thinking of coming out a proper Photography name for myself (at least something that will last?) I feel like adding the number 12 inside (for no specific reason except that 12 is my birth date? haha)

Oh my.... i realised i haven't updated since the New Year! 0.0 that's how busy i've been for the past few weeks and it's gonna get even busier with my final year project submission, poster presentation, oral presentation to the external examiners and even my last exam in Ngee Ann! Goshhh! Although i can't wait for the long chinese new year weekend but i still have to complete alot of my school assignments... Nevermind...... i just need to hang in there for 6 more weeks!

Anyway, it's good to be back shooting again.. haha! if you know where i took this, you'll realised most of my "desparate-to-update shots" were taken at the same location but with different ideas. Been wanting to try a self-jumpshot-portrait like these for quite some time, but too bad the surroundings are either filled with too much greeneries or construction so this was the only nice spot i found with the Singapore Sports School (Hint!) as a background!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

It's been a great 2008 and i guess 2009 will be another bumpy ride for me. 2009 will be the year i can say goodbye to education for at least 2 years. It will also be the year where "boys become men" as they always say. For me that is. Fortunately or not, all fit Singaporean men will eventually have to serve the army for a minimum of 2 long years (2 1/2 for some a long time ago). Still i guess that's something we Singaporean men can talk about even if we don't know each other. Soon it will be my turn this year and i guess that's something i could look forward to? (Can't speak too soon) :D

MERRY BELATED CHRISTMAS and an ADVANCED HAPPY 2009!!

My so called 3 weeks term break didn't even feel like a holiday with the exception of the few Christmas celebrations i had of course. I just realised i had many stuff to do and i haven't exactly get them done yet.. :(

Sooo... When it gets too busy during the holidays, the only way to outsource is to get reliable help from mannequins who are jobless and knows nothing but to listen to instructions. Haha, just bought myself a nice "ceiling-light-covering" from IKEA. Who else would do a better job other than Woody himself? :D

Anywayyy... if you're interested i have video taken by the crazily cool D90 during my class' Christmas party. It's pretty funny and weird recording the whole thing in a fisheye perspective! Ha! Enjoy :D

Yay! I finally got the chance to play with the D90 and a fisheye for the whole day! I was pretty impressed with the video recording function, who knew 10 years ago that an SLR would be capable of recording videos! Hopefully later during my class party i'll try to make full use of the new camera. Will upload photos of it if they turn out nice! :D

Finally after sooooooo long Christmas is almost 1 week away with many plans up my sleeves. Besides the usual boring school work, i'm looking forward to my class' last christmas party together, on top of that i'm also going to rent a D90 and a 10.5mm fisheye. Hopefully i could make full use of them especially with the video function built into the D90. Hehe can't wait! Let's see what i can produce from that combination! :D

Mom just bought us a new kind of cereals than my usual Koko Crunch/Fruit Loops/Milo Balls. So it's hard, rugged and there are even tiny pieces of chocolate in the mixture. From what i've gathered it's called a Muesli? Never heard of it before (LOL), that's how pathetic i am when it comes to breakfast. I'm only used to bacons, eggs, bread and "normal" cereals. Guess i can add this to my breakfast menu. Haha :D

Just a little update to keep this blog alive!

Thankfully school ended early today... so i decided to take a road trip down town to look up for this Camera looking notepad at Far East Plaza. What can i say.. i would do anything for something 'unique/photography', of course it must be cheap! I got it for $5? But i wouldn't say it's cheap or anything.. at least it's different! haha and it looks like a Leica.. seriously... Right now i'm thinking what i should do with it though...

Oh yeah... and i also decided to buy my long-awaited 'Organiser' from Page One.. a pretty small handy one to keep me well... 'organised' considering i have SOOO many things to do. I probably take a photo of it some other time.. right now i need energy for tomorrow's 'killer attachment'. Muahahaha :D

Seriously, i've been inactive for too long already... Everytime when i have the time to visit other blogs, i kinda got sick looking at the cheese fries... I had a crazy week worrying about almost everything related to school from video editing, leaflet designing, studying for quizzes (soon) etc etc.

Sometimes in our busy schedule we tend to miss the little wonders that God created, truly this shows how busy we are in life! Like for a 19 year old (myself), we have stacks of projects, assignments, quizzes and other life commitments to worry about! We don't even have time for ourselves to thing about small little details in life that may inject a big difference when we grow up. Relationship with friends is one key that many of us always miss out, indeed we really need to treasure those who were with you cheering you on when you're down or laughing with you when you're happy!

Okay, that was just random... hehe :) anyway... right now i'm like waiting for a video (part of final year project) to process before i can continue with my next video. It's taking toooooo long....

On a side note, i somehow had this thought that Instant Messenging kind of spoils the whole importance of keeping a good conversation. I realised that when i add friends on IM, we 'talk' less as compared to other means (emails?) If you need a friend, do email me man! I would love to start 'emailing' soon. wahaha :D

The Art of Precognition

Too bad this year there's no fancy costumes or crazy ass make ups, instead i decided to be a simple Precog who's made to dream about the future and nothing else. That's all i do.... Neat isn't it? All i need is a white canvas, a paint brush and some nice paint to get my work done. People would actually kill one another in order to see what will happen.

Okay, i think i'm getting out of hand cos Heroes is at it's 3rd season and i just can't wait for the next episode! Argh! hahah.... I wonder if precognition can forsee the upcoming episodes of all the shows i'm watching.. hmmm...

Yeah seriously when i started out photography, i didn't think i would last that long... thought i'll probably give up half-way like most hobbies that i've took up. LOL! But i'm pretty surprised i've gone serious about this hobby and how i've matured through the years (2 years?). Of course i couldn't have done it without the support of my photog friends especially those from Flickr who taught me good techniques and also many others who gave 'moral support'! haha!

New kid in the block

Okay so i kinda remembered that my dad used to have this old twin reflex lens oldie 120mm camera. Thought it would be one of those expensive brands like Mamiya or Hasselblad but it turned out to be some China-made 'Pearl River' brand? It still works though, so i'm wondering if i should really get an expired 120mm roll of film to try it out. Then again, money wise... it won't make any economical sense at all to do something foolish. Still... as an experimental photographer, i might (!) give it a try... (",)

Basically, we were all close to living in a world that's hanging on a thread, we nearly couldn't survive that crazy financial turmoil... all because of a few banks and mortgage companies in the US, the rest of the world followed their footsteps into a deep empty hole. Good thing the finance departments in the various nations had some reserves to keep the economy alive... Else how long can we hang on till we finally 'drop'?

Anyway, on a lighter note.... 1st week of attachment was OKAY... nothing much to comment except for the fact that many millilitres or litres (?) of infectious mucus were dripping down my nasal canal throughout the attachment! Can you imagine how i have to face the patients if they were to inquire about anything ? !

Rival Brand Photomarathon 2008

Whoa.... this year's Canon Photomarathon was quite a blast? hahaha didn't really move around as much as compared to last year's though. But it's really fun doing it with my photography mates from school. Especially when most of us are still virgins to the marathon. This shot was taken right after i've taken my final theme of the day. Was quite tired and nothing really inspired me during the whole marathon... LOL well i guess i'll have to work harder next year then !

Tomorrow's gonna be a pretty long day for 1000+ photographers in Singapore. Probably one of the craziest event of the year for photography hobbyist like myself and many others. In case you're wondering, tomorrow marks the day of the Canon Photomarathon 2008. That will also be my last chance to 'get' something from the Student Category before transferring to the Open Cat. when i graduate. Pretty stressed up! hahah, but then of course we're all there to have fun and hopefully to know more camera enthusiasts like my buddies below!

Weekend to Relax

It's my last weekend to literally relax and enjoy while i still can before my new semester starts on Monday. Scary but at least there's finally something fruitful to do for the next few months before i officially graduate. I can't imagine that this coming semester will be my last one and soon enough i'll be off to the my intensive phase of my life (Serving the Army).

When Uke came into the family

If you've noticed my new header on the top, you'll probably find out that i own a ukulele, a rather cheap one as well ($20?). Figured out it'll be easier (?) to learn to play as compared to a guitar. I was right indeed! Managed to "memorise" the chords for the infamous Somewhere Over the Rainbow medley and i've still got a couple more songs which i'm trying to "master". All thanks to Youtube , i don't have to literally spent alot of money on Ukulele Lessons in music schools (if there're any in Singapore).

Heads up people, sooner or later i MIGHT be able to play "Don't Look Back in Anger" by Oasis and "Country Road, Take Me Home" by John Denver. :D

Pulau Ubin

Considering that i've been living in Singapore for almost 19 years already and just last Saturday, that was my first time visiting Pulau Ubin, an off island North East of Mainland Singapore. Nice rural place without the buzzling cityscape we always see.. It's also nice to go there with my photography kakis and at the same time gotta know new people with same interests as me ! :D

Murder & Suicide

I realised nowadays more & more teenagers or any other ordinary people are getting their minds brainwashed by God knows what. Probably due to television violence or some crazy ass game that kills random people. Many of them had ventured out into killing sprees in schools and even shopping malls, hoping to die with honour or what nots. Even in Singapore, suicide cases among teenagers have risen. But sometimes we can't really blame them. It's really hard to live life to the fullest when you have exam stress, domestic problems or peer pressure by bad influences.

What a waste of God's creation.

Couldn't find the time to actually blog about my Grandma's 80th birthday. Well alot of things happened like eating, eating and more eating. One the very night when i arrived, we already had our own family 'banquet'.

Sometimes I really feel privileged to be half-Filipino. Considering that not many Singaporeans have been to the Philippines, i really feel that they are missing quite alot! lol! Cheap and VERY GOOD food, whole range of cheap good quality clothes. There's even Asia's Biggest mall in the Philippines, really can't be compared with Vivocity or Ion Orchard.

Okay so i'm officially back into reality where school work and commitments linger over your head even during your sleep. 3 weeks was really fast when you're really having so much fun. Lots of things happened and it'll be pretty intensive to describe it in a single post.

One evening, i was looking outside when i noticed my neighbour's pair of shoes. But that's not it..

I had to force half of my body out of my kitchen's window.. 7 floors up from ground level.. twist my body 90 degrees with my camera dangling on my neck.. I took a deep breath and shoot as much as i can. I had to do it fast or i might have to face unnecessary attention from the other neighbours. In fact i actually went out 3 times using 3 lenses.. LOL but eventually the 90mm brought in the better pie... Whew! What an adventure... =.=

By the way, Happy Birthday to Usain Bolt! The inSAIN Jamaican who broke not 1 but 2 World Records and is unbelievably the fastest man on earth! What a thrill to watch him run last night!

When Men turn against Women

I wonder when will this day come, where every SINGLE men turn against women and lust over other men. Well currently there're definitely alot of them already. Of course i'm not totally against them, in fact i think we should respect their way of thinking... I'm still neutral about these whole thing anyway.. But imagine if we don't have such men around, we wouldn't get the chance to listen to such great music from Sir Elton John or even appreciate T.R Knight's acting skills in Grey's Anatomy.

Talking about women, i think it's really amazing how these young Gymnasts can literally fly/balance/jump/glide/etc etc over a small beam and not getting hurt at all. Imagine just using your leg muscles to do flips and still land perfectly on the beam! Bravo !

Pimp My Ride

I find it quite funny to be blogging at this hour, not because it's quite early in the morning to do so, but in fact i have an exam in 4 hours time! I believe i can't blame myself entirely cos' today's the last paper before i can self-declare the start of a proper semester break. (Highly impossible)

I realised another thing, it's been 2 months since i got my driving licence and i haven't been accumulating alot of mileage in my Dad's ride. What waste of $1.8k just for that piece of card to prove that i can drive legally. LOL. Anyway here's a fisheye shot of my Dad's ride if you're curious...

Olympic Fever

The fastest swimmer alive. 7 Gold medals for this year's Olympics and i believe if he's swimming for tomorrow's 4x100 Medley, he'll most likely get his 8th Gold medal. I'm actually quite happy to witness such perfect performance by the Greatest Olympian EVER.

And of course not forgetting my own country's achievement, after 48 years, we've finally secured a medal for the Olympics! All thanks to the Women's Table Tennis team!

Sometimes i wonder why i even end up in a science course, all along i always see myself as a design or IT fella fiddling with all the crazy animations and game designing. LOL but when i think about, i also see myself in the healthcare industry helping out the patients etc etc.

It's a rather old picture taken during last year's photography camp. Honestly I can't remember why they were laughing, I think it was something silly they had do. Hmmm.. I always like taking shots which are 'spontaneous' rather than posed ones. It kind of gives a different mood to the whole shot itself.

It's been a while people... Here's a shot taken during last night's studio session with the club. Didn't really take much because i didn't anticipate for 20+ members to be there as well. So, basically this was a steal shot rather than a carefully thought one. (Hmmm then again since when did all my shots were carefully thought and crafted? LOL)

BTW, credits to our model for that night, LENNE? Plus a couple of dressed up cosplayers (Sorry didn't took any photos of them :P)

On a side note:

During the June break, I kind of watched a Korean Drama for the first time? Snow Queen? It was reallyyyy good, everything was really thought through. But it had to end on the sad side. :'( Now when i'm listening to the OST, dang.. the flashbacks of each episode keeps coming back. GOOD ONE.

Well when hardcore photographers bought their expensive 1:1 macro lenses, they'll definitely use it to shoot exotic insects or up-close flower shots. But considering that i also bought one, i haven't shot any of the above mentioned genres. Who knew i would end up shooting common household amenities. Can you imagine that even though you have an umbrella with you, you still can get drenched and soaked? Sometimes i wonder why no one actually pointed this out and invented something to keep us dry in rainy seasons. I still think Raincoats are much better but who uses them now? (Well except for a few)

Technical Aspect (For the photography junkies) :

I'm really loving my SB-600, i bounced it straight up to the ceiling and the umbrella i used (which is slightly translucent ) diffused the light and lit up my face nicely.

I experimented with some textures, and i've added one texture which i found from Flickr. I think it matches well with this photo.

Driving test's tomorrow (13/6/08)! Before i can even dream about getting a Peugeot, i have to overcome one last huddle to be at least a qualified driver. However, i still have no idea if i would pass or not especially with the All-time-scary-eerie-feeling of the Tester, who knows what will my nerves will do to me

If i do fail (and i hope i don't), there's at least something to look forward to. I'm moving on to the next phase of upgrade to my photography collection:

Been busy driving this whole week, and all i can say is that i'm glad it's progressing quite smoothly. I don't know, but these small little thingys i found are just beside the graves. I find it very interesting to have houses as well to shelter the graves of the dead. This was taken at a Memorial park near my grandma's place in the Philippines, it seems that the park is far better than the parks in Singapore as well. Ha! On a happier note, i finally bought myself a flashlight (SB-600). Haven't really played with it yet but i really like how bounce flash can change my style of flash photography! Very exciting! :D

Sorry for the lack of updates! Anyways, i just realized today is the 29th of February, and wow.. can you imagine how unlucky or special it is to be born on a day that only exist every 4 years? But still, it's cool.. your birthday will be 4 times as great as someone who's born on other days.

On the side note, driving lessons are like roller coaster rides to me (and that's not good news) Till now i still don't understand why many drivers out there have the guts to do a 100 or 120 on an autobahn. But i'm getting the hang of it, what can expect out of a guy who only drove 4 times so far?

Stress had sort of reduced its damage on me at last, considering my super week had come to an end and just 1 day of school left before my exams. Total yay-ness. On a sidenote, Nikon released an amateur SLR again?! D60? Such a disappointment considering after they impressed us with the flagship D3. But i'm rather enthralled with the new lenses coming out. Tilt-shift lenses with perspective control? Very impressive indeed.

Decided to take a break yesterday and took a scroll down to a place where it felt like there's no stress hanging on my back. Sadly, by the time i reached my favourite spot, the sun is already disappearing into the clouds. It's really a good place to meditate or to do some thinking when you're really bored at home. Right now, i'm going to conquer the impossible, 8 chapters of Pharmacology to study for a quiz in less than 6 hours which will only account for 5% of the whole module. 2 hours for 5% = Not doing any at all.

You know, seriously it's really hard to update everyday with new pictures. Haha, even my resources are getting dried up and with time not co-operating with me. This part of the semester is really hectic! With one more month to go, projects, quizzes and exams just have to fall on this end of the semester. Basically every week i have to meet up with deadlines and stuff. Woot!

Camera Nostalgia

The Nikon FM, probably one of the best of its time besides the FM2 Film camera and my dad happened to have it way back in the 70-80s. Attached to it is the super sharp 35mm f2.8 AiS. It works great on my D50 except that everything has to be done manually. I can't imagine how long my D50 will survive till it is old enough to be called an antique. LOL

Simplicity: Less Words

Simplicity, thats what many will call it. Many asked why i don't really write much about my life, well the simple reason is that this IS a photoblog isn't it? So less words, more pictures. For my case, a picture per post. Even today's photo is rather simple and random, yet many can still appreciate the simplicity of this picture.
Think about it, if i write more about my life, it would be more of an online diary rather than a picture archive.
